What Three Rivers Outfitting is All About

Three Rivers Outfitting was established during the 2009 MN Black Bear Season. We were formerly Goble Guide Service. There are three licensed guides: Dan Goble, Cody Goble and Ray Pfremmer.

Most of our past hunters know that my father, Rodney Goble, started Goble Guide Service in the late 80's. Longtime family friend Raymond Pfremmer and son Dan Goble were his partners until he passed on October 23, 2008. Bear hunting and guiding were one of his passions and we all enjoyed each season tremendously. Rod's grandson, Cody, starting helping as a child and is now a license guide along with his father Dan and Ray. Goble Guide Service has been a family tradition and many hunters come back each time they are lucky enough to be drawn in the MN bear lottery.

We will start by posting pictures from years past along with information on pricing and booking, etc.

This blog is just a way to get information out to interested hunters that are calling and would like more information on Three Rivers Outfitting.

2010 Season Pricing - Season begins September 1st every year

$900.00 5 day hunt

with 1/2 down at time of booking and balance due upon arrival

The deposit is non-refundable as we will have put many hours into getting bait sites prepared, along with bait and fuel expenses.

Please go to www.dnr.state.mn.us for information on applying for a bear license and the deadlines for doing so. The deadline is usually by the first of May each year. You should be able to go to the hunting tab and then bear and proceed from there. There are also phone numbers if you have trouble applying online.

Good Luck!!!

  1. It has been a few years since I hunted with you last. You put me on a 300 pound plus chocolate color bear that I had a beautiful rug made and it hangs on my living room wall.

I am so sorry to hear about your dad. He will be missed by tons of people. I know that you and the rest will continue to have an excellent guide service and promise to get back up there soon.
